Christie "Crime Scene" Craig

Christie Craig grew up in Alabama, where she caught lightning bugs, ran barefoot, and regularly rescued potential princes, in the form of Alabama bullfrogs, from her brothers.  Today, she’s still fascinated with lightning bugs, mostly wears shoes, but has turned her focus to rescuing mammals.  She now lives in Texas with her four rescue cats, and a prince of a husband, who for the record, is not a frog.

Over three thousand pieces of her freelance non-fiction has appeared in national magazines.  After selling four novels in one day in 2006, she has gained a reputation for writing romance fiction that has both witty humor and a suspenseful, sexy tone.  Look for her next humorous romantic suspense series, Don’t Mess With Texas to be released by Grand Central Publishing in 2011.

Christie also writes non-fiction books with Faye Hughes. The Everything Guide to Writing a Romance Novel, and their second non-fiction, Wild, Wicked and Wanton: 101 Ways to Love Like You’re in a Romance Novel are available wherever books are sold.

Born at Midnight, Christie’s first book in her young adult paranormal romance series, Shadow Falls, is written under the pen name C.C. Hunter, and comes out April 2011 with St. Martin’s Press.

GOOD COP
Sue Finley murdered people…on paper.  As a mystery writer, she knew all the angles, who did what and why.  The only thing she couldn't explain was…well, men.  Dating was like diving into a box of chocolates: sometimes the sweetest-looking specimens were candy coated poison.  After a breakup with a bank robber and a divorce from a cross dresser, she gave it up for good.  Then came Detective Jason Dodd.

BAD BOY
Raised in foster homes, Jason swore never to need anyone as much as the parent who abandoned him.  That was why he failed to follow up after experiencing the best kiss of his life: real passion was addictive.  But when Sue Finley started getting death threats, all bets were off. The blonde spitfire was everything he'd ever wanted—and she needed him. And though this novel situation had a quirky cast of characters and an unquestionable bad guy, he was going to make sure it had a happy ending.

Divorced, Desperate and Deceived

Of the Divorced, Desperate and Delicious club, Kathy Callahan is the last surviving member. Oh, her two friends haven’t died or anything. They just gave up their vows of chastity. He seems honest, hardworking...and skilled with a tool.

PLUMB CRAZY

Kathy’s best-laid plans are about to hit a clog. The guy snaking her drain isn’t what he seems. He’s handier with a pistol than a pipe wrench, and she’s about to see more action than Jason Statham. The next forty-eight hours promise hot pursuit, hotter passion and a super perky pug. And at the end of this wild escapade, Kathy and her own undercover lawman will be flush with happiness . . . assuming they both survive.

Macy Tucker was five years old when her beloved grandfather dropped dead in his spaghetti.  At twelve, her father left his family in the dust. At twenty-five, her husband gave his secretary a pre-Christmas bonus in bed, and Macy gave him the boot. To put things lightly, men have been undependable.

That's why dating's off the menu. Macy is focused on law school, and putting herself through—which means being the delivery girl for Papa's Pizza. But cheesier than her job is her pie-eyed brother, who just recently escaped from prison to protect his new girlfriend. And hotter than Texas toast is the investigating detective. Proud, sexy…inflexible—he's a man who would kiss her just to shut her up. But Jake Baldwin's a protector as much as a dish. And when he gets his man—or his woman—Macy knows it's for life.

WELCOME TO PRECIOUS, TEXAS...where fistfights serve as dinner theater and fire ants rain from the sky. The locals are usually very friendly, if a bit eccentric. No pictures please, or you may find yourself a guest of the county morgue.

Photojournalist Shala Winters already had her hands full bringing tourism to this backward, podunk little town, but her job just got tougher. Pictures can say a thousand words, and one of Shala’s is screaming bloody murder. Now she has to entrust a macho, infuriating lawman with her life—but she’ll never trust him with her heart.

Trusted or not, Sky Gomez isn’t about to let a killer get his hands on Shala’s Nikon—or any of her more comely assets, for that matter. Her mouth might move faster than a Piney Woods roadrunner, but all he can think about is how good it must taste…and how she’ll never escape true love.
